'Round the Island Flotilla (1st Sunday)

Annual New Year's Day Around Alameda Island motor,/sail & yacht club hop. Start in the AM with breakfast rolls and coffee at Afterguard.

Every year on New Year’s Day, San Francisco’s boating community converges on the Alameda Estuary for ‘Round the Island — a semi-organized parade of watercraft that includes sailboats and powerboats of all sizes, and even brave rowboats :) Traditionally, Alameda’s six yacht clubs throw their doors open to New Year’s Day guests, offering hot breakfasts, chili and hair of the dog. Music and dancing are faithful companions.

 Join the fun for a great start of the New Year visiting a few yacht clubs along the way.

For any time constraints, can meet us at a pit-stop en route, or make your way back on land from Alameda.
