Learn to use the sun and stars to verify your location and to use as a cross check for DR and electonic aids in this class. Yo will learn how to find a reference when land is not in site. You will get the theory and basics of using a sextant which is required prior to venturing into the open sea for Offshore Passage Making. ASA-108 is where you you will use the ASA-107 skills.
Second weekend to be scheduled with the group, when meeting for 1st weekend.
