Thursday Sailor's Ground School Open Gather

!st and 3rd Thursday, unless another full day Member Event is the day before or after. These Sailor's Gather events can of any topic to review by request of those attending. Donations for more accepted but the Minimal charge of $5 to members. Non members pay $10 to join in. Keeping it fun over a 2hr evening session to: refresh, improve, learn more and share skills. Suggested Topics include: terms-sailing language, knots, sail trim, tides and currents of SF Bay for smart sailing, navigation practice exercises, overnight sailing trip planning, explore destination charter options, COB walk through, ATON walk through, make learning aids for sailing, guest speakers, sextant use, ground work for Spinnaker pack and set, sailing movies...

All are encouraged to suggest more topics or skills if want to hear/learn about or see something specific. Great fun in the colder months. If this builds momentum, can continue all year adding BBQs to the long days of summer.
