Description

This course takes place over 3 days. The graduates of this course can rent our Cruising Cat 'Angel' at successful conclusion the course. For those who wish to achieve expertise in sailing and docking a multihull vessel, this course is right version for you. Day 1 covers terms, docking, anchoring, tacking, gybing, reefing and weather vaning (heaving to) plus the 1st of several COBs. Day 2 we sail to Angel for picking up moors and public docking practice. On the sail to and from holding course, dealing with windage, course adjustments plus the balance of the COB return styles. The last day can be a sail to Sam's for lunch or just working with the wave action and keeping the boat entering a wave face 1 hull at a time plus review of all other aspects before the test. Test begins at 12:30 over lunch at a very cool restaurant on Treasure Island.
